DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the ID code box.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
  1. If the ID code box is replaced, register the ECU code and ECU communication ID.
  2. Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ID CODE BOX - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

  1. Disconnect the ID code box connector.

  1. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    D30-1 (+B) - Body ground
    		Always
    		11 to 14 V

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    D30-8 (GND) - Body ground
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
